This volume contains two issues of separate publications: Vol II of the Christian Family Magazine for 1843 (vi, 302 pages) and the 1848-9 issue of The Ladies' Wreath (iv, 426, [2] pages). Red gilt-stamped leather over boards, marbled end papers, both periodicals are illustrated with engravings and hand-colored images of flowers. Covers worn at corners and along edges, front hinge cracked, pages still attached, pages toned and foxed, heavily in some places, some tears on pages, one page is ripped in half, but both halves are still attached, scattered staining. overall good and still highly readable.
