Elbert Hubbards copy with his signature and ?East Aurora NY? below it in his hand. A nice clean copy with scarce Hubbard signature contents near fine. Elbert Hubbard (1856-1915) American author publisher artist & philosopher. Best known as the founder of the Roycroft artisan community in East Aurora New York. Creator of the private press the Roycrofters Press inspired by William Morris Kelmscott Press.

Number 64 of an edition of 67 copies, printed on Japan Vellum and bound in 3/4 morocco leather with marbled paper on both boards, and signed by Hubabrd on the limitation page. Raised bands and gilt titling on spine, bound-in silk page marker as well. Binding is tight, sturdy, and square; leather worn/split at corners, else wear is very minor, gilt titling remains bright and bold; text very good throughout. Hubbard-era Roycrofters at their best. Ships from Dinkytown in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Signed by Author.
