Boards are shelf and edgeworn, spine ends are lightly scuffed and brown cloth lightly creased on V.2. There is foxing to page blocks and endpapers, with lighter foxing to internal pages. V.3 binding has been reinfoced and spines of V.1&2 are cocked. Text remains clean and unmarked throughout. Newspaper clippings from 1958 book review laid-in. AD. Used.

From the library of Sir John Wilson, with his bookplate to the front pastedown of each. Spines are all sunned and edges and corners are rubbed. Minor shelfwear to paper sides and foxing to the page blocks. Contents are clean throughout and spines are tight. AD. Used.
