First Edition. 8vo; green wove cloth stamped in blind on front cover and lettered in gold on spine, pictorial dust jacket by Leo Manson, book very good with bottom of spine a little ruffled, jacket lightly used with some wear to spine ends, bottom edge with sprinkling of brown dots, ink name and date on inside front pastedown (covered by jacket flap). The author's first and only novel. Though her reputation lies in her writing on gastronomy and travel, M.F.K.
