Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Front free end paper almost detached. Cracking at front board gutter reveals netting. Minor pencil mark to reverse of frontispiece. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Sunning to spine. Gilt lettering is darkened.
