First edition, first printing hardback in dustwrapper. 22 × 14cm, 205pp. Signed directly to the title page by William Riviere. Under the open skies of north Norfolk, the Dobell family seems to lead an idyllic life, the countryside and its sporting pursuits closely interwoven with the very fabric of existence. Yet happiness eludes two generations; only the natural world remains a passion which sustains expectations in this haunting tale of loss and deep but ill-fated emotions. Condition: A very good copy. There is a little light wear to the wrapper but this has not been price-clipped and is now within a protective sleeve. N° de ref. de la librería 005798
