The manuscript is a treatise of Rhetorical, divided in four books: • Liber Primus “ De Elocutione” • Liber Secundus “De Inventione” • Liber Tertius “De Dispositione ” • Liber Quartus “De Genere Deliberativo ” Every book is newly divided in chapters. It seems that most of the argumentations are based on the Aristotle's studies, and the text offers a complete view over the matter. Particular attention has to be given to the book: an attentive examination demonstrates that the book was a very precious manufact, as it was bound with raised bands, handmade cardboard plates, ready to be rebound in vellum. The edges are coloured, typical '700 manufacturing. Each page, of important weight, was impressed with a copper plate with rounded edges to define the writing space. This specific attention is really very rare as it was expensive to be realized, so we can gather that the plain book was prepared for somebody very rich. And at that times riches went together with celebrity. In the text we can see various corrections and some plain pages, maybe left for some further additions. Pages are numbered on top. One paper is missing (pages 3 and 4) but no lack of text is noticed. This make us think that the page was for some reason pulled up by the author before continuing the writing. Total pages : 348.
