Biografía del autor: Robert J. Raynor is President of Raynors Historical Collectible Auctions, Partner Raynors IMS, and Compiler of Raynors' Compendium. Bob has a 25 year association with American historical documents. First as a collector of Presidential ephemera, then as the president of Vintage Cover Story, an auction house specializing in historic newspapers, and currently as president of Raynors Historical Collectible Auctions, one of the country's leading auction houses specializing in American manuscripts from 1700-1900. At Raynors Historical Collectible Auctions, Bob has brought several important documents to market. In 2006, Raynors HCA set a world record with the sale of a Lincoln signed 13th Amendment abolishing slavery in America which sold for $1.8 million. Then in 2007, Raynors HCA set a second world record with the sale of a William Stone Declaration of Independence which sold for $480,000. Raynors HCA has authenticated, described, imaged and sold more than 7,500 Confederate documents in the last 12 years.
