Stapled, folded booklet with elaborate illustrations of a lovely lady holding a mask and three fairies playing musical instruments on front cover. Program for the April 14th to April 19th, 1890, performances of "The Prince and the Pauper" at the Hollis St. Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. Along with information about the performance, the program contains several advertisements. The Hollis Street Theatre was built in 1885 and in its day was the most fashionable theatre in Boston. It was demolished in 1935. Elsie Leslie (1881-1966) began her career on the stage in 1894 and became America's first child star.
