Maple & Co Furniture Catalogue - SLIGHTLY At Fault - See Description. NO Date given - but from the photos in the book & leaflets it could be any date circa 1910/30? . King George V is noted (he died in 1936, so this cannot be later than that) . Cream cloth covered spine - untitled, and covering a quarter of the boards either side, with paper covered boards Titled in White. Corners bumped/scraped but overall the covers are VG Minus. A Royal 'By Appointment' crest on the inner top edge of the front cover, and at the foot of this block is a green 'A' - presumably indicating the Issue/Edition. The book starts with a full colour illustration of Maple & Co Ltd - the remainder of the book printed in sepia on cream paper. (26 pp - prelims) + 384 pp + 3 page Index. Contents cover Information about Maples and show 17 pages of examples of rooms from Hallways, Bedrooms, Living Rooms to Cottage 'Sitting Parlours'. Then the catalogue starts showing various items of Furniture, Lighting, Clocks, Brass goods, Pianos, Ceramics, Glass, Bed linen, Curtains and Blinds, Baths, Mangles, Garden Furniture - even Lawn Mowers! , etc, etc. All items needed to furnish a home of various sizes/styles in the first quarter of the 20th Century. NOTE: In 2 places (all I've spotted) a former owner has cut out a few items of interest sadly, (and one other small 'cut' to a blamnk area without loss to the content) so the book is slightly AF. Also NO Full Price list enclosed - in the book it states 'For Prices see Key', but a loose Revised price list for Bedding IS enclosed, along with a small tri-fold leaflet 'A few Examples of Office Furniture.' , and a one sided b/w large postcard-sized leaf showing a picture of "Contents of a trainload of Witney Blankets passing through Trafalgar Square to Maple & Co." on horse-drawn GWR open trucks. Overall a near VG copy if someone hadn't cut out a few items of interest to them - I wonder if they bought them? This book is overweight at an1.6 Kilos UN-packaged and MAY require extra postage depending on your location. See Images. ; Oblong 4to 11" - 13" tall. N° de ref. de la librería 113704
