This is an Original, complete issue of 16 pages dated September 3, 1853 -- Vol. 5, No. 10 -- Illustrated with wood cut engravings -- Pages are tight, very nice condition -- This Publication has one of the most Ornate Mastheads, with a wood cut engraving of Boston Harbor covering one third of the Front Page, depicting many ships in the Harbor -- The Front Page has an engraving accompanying an article titled "The Month Of September" -- Page 148 has two engravings, one titled "Portrait Of M. Jullien", the other "The Clipper Ship Sovereign Of The Seas" -- Page 149 has two engravings, one titled "The Gigantic Water-Lily--Victoria Regia--In Flower", the other "Market Street Railroad Bridge, Philadelphia" -- Page 152 has two engravings, one titled "Genin's Bazaar, In The Crystal Palace", the other "The Shepherd And Panther, Exhibiting At The Crystal Palace" -- Page 153 has four engravings, titled as follows: "Jones, Ball & Co.'s Exhibition Of Silver Ware, At The Crystal Palace, New York", "The Webster Vase", "The Riddle Vase", and "The Winchester Vase" -- Page 156 has two engravings, one titled "Portrait Of Rev. Andrew L. Stone", the other "Park Street Church, Boston" -- Page 160 has four engravings, titled as follows: "Allegorical Representation Of September", "The Whitebait", "Whitebait Fishing", and "The Grayling" -- Many articles related to these engravings as well as other articles and stories -- We store and ship each Gleason's Pictorial issue in a large zip lock plastic sleeve with a board insert for stiffness.
