152 pages, diagrams, illustrations, Hardcover First edition. This copy is identified to CAPTAIN JACOB W. HAAS of Pottsville, PA who was Captain of G Company, 96th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment. He was also sometimes mistaken for John Wilkes Booth during the nationwide hunt for Booth after Lincoln's assassination. He served in many major campaigns and battles of the Army of the Potomac. Binding is poor. Contents Very good with some foxing and very old waterstaining at the top of the book. The ID is written in ink inside the front cover and front fly leaf but is badly waterstained but legible. Great association piece to a well known Civil War Pennsylvanian Officer.
