Internally there is some light embrowning to the paper throughout. The lower corner of the engraved portrait frontispiece is broken, seemingly due to a paper fault, but with no loss to image or caption. The tips of the title page & A1 are broken. All edges gilt. The five letters called for in the title are all present - the book collates. The black morocco binding shows light evidence of spillage to both covers, all corners are worn,& the foot of the spine is slightly chipped. There is wear to both joints, but they & the hinges are firm. The pastedowns are marbled,& the front pastedown bears an armorial bookplate.Presumably there were matching marbled free endpapers, but these have been detached. In all,a perfectly good copy of what would would seem to be one of Taylor's more uncommon titles.Later, dated, inked ownership [16.N.32 , which I take to be 16 November 1732,on the front pastedown.
