No 992 in the "First hermeneutic expression of one thousand copies". The Caduceus in Greek mythology was the staff of Hermes. The book appears to be concerned with the hermeneutic significance of the vocalisation of words. If this makes no sense, neither does the book, at least to the uninitiated. The first page announces that the book is "Dedicated to Sex in a Street Called Straight". Worn and marked covers but a clean interior apart from an inscription on the flyleaf in ink which appears to read "To Miss R M Black from M S Chambers Author 1921" This is followed by an explanation of the words beanfeast, Brahman, and Bacchus. The whole book is eccentric veering towards lunatic. N° de ref. de la librería 048623
