Previous owner has written in a date of 1880 on the title page (WorldCat gives c1900 for date, but 1880 would be closer for the style of binding.) xliii, , 116 pages. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine and front board. Black decoration on front board and gilt and black decoration on spine. Page dimensions: 209 x 136mm. Poetry on biblical prophecy, Great Britain and Israel. Preceded by a text Preface. "The error of an antedated second Advent has opened the door from the real, the scriptural, the practical, and useful into dreamland, to sport with many phantasies there: a 'rapture of the saints' a few years hence, an 'infidel Antichrist' sitting in a temple at Jerusalem, an appearance on the Mount of Olives at a critical time of a great battle [. . .]" - page xxxiv.
