Reseña del editor:
Rather than list the tourist traps and city cliches, The HUNT team has donned our curatorial-coloured glasses and carefully selected 100 or so unique, local Boston businesses that will show you the real city in all its charmingly historic and upbeat sporty glory. For the true Boston experience we can point you in the direction of the best food trucks, coffee shops, live music spots and comedy clubs, swanky cocktail joints and rowdy sports bars, as well as family-run restaurants for that clam chowder or lobster roll, and the pick of the shops. Arranged by neighbourhood, we walk you through Back Bay, Fenway and Kenmore; Beacon Hill and West End; South End and Bay Village; North End; Waterfront and Downtown; Southie and Seaport; Brookline, Allston, Brighton and Jamaica Plain; Cambridge and Somerville and Charlestown. Over the last decade, our guides have become the go-to source for a worldwide community of locals and travellers who seek out genuine, intriguing independent businesses
Biografía del autor:
Brittany Fischer considers herself Boston's authority on all things indulgent. She's lived there for eight years, and has been known to jump straight into a cab at the mere mention of an extraordinary meal, creative cocktail or little-known local shop. Ask her what she majored in at Boston University and she'll look you square in the eye and say, "restaurants, coffee shops, bars and boutiques." In actuality, it was Journalism and her writing has since graced the pages of many of Boston's most popular newspapers and magazines. In the rare event that Brittany is not eating, caffeinating, drinking, shopping or writing about it, you'll most likely find her on a long walk, wearing headphones and extremely impractical shoes, as she scouts out new locations in which to do all of the above.
