Akin Tekin was born in Gurun in Turkey in 1944.He studied sociology and literature. But his greatest interest lies in ecology. He worked for several years in Germany as a sociologist for the federal government helping foreign immigrants and their children in all legal and social matters. While he was there he wrote the "The Ownerless Planet in series of five books. and "The Duel at Checkpoint Charlie"He is bilingual in English and German. Der Autor Akin Tekin wurde 09.06. 1944 in Gürün, in der Türkei, geboren. Er studierte Soziologie und Sozialanthropologie. Sein größtes Interesse gilt der Ökologie. Er arbeitete mehrere Jahre in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland als Soziologe im Auftrage des Ministeriums für Arbeit, half den türkischen Gastarbeitern, Häftlingen und deren Kindern in allen juristischen und sozialen Fragen. Er schrieb dort 'Der Herrenlose Planet'"Die Tränen des blauen Planeten" in fünf Bänden. Er ist deutscher Staatsangehöriger, Anhänger von Greenpeace, den Friends of the Earth und der Partei der Grünen in Deutschland.
