John Aaron grew up in Aberystwyth and followed a career in Welsh-medium schools, first as a physics teacher and then a school manager. He is married to Jenny; they have two children and five grandchildren. Gwyn Davies is originally from Ynys-y-bwl, and was for many years a member of staff at the University of Aberystwyth and then at the Wales Evangelical School of Theology. He lives in Aberystwyth and is married to Glenys; they have three children and four grandchildren.
