In addition to coaching high school students in the ways of time management and sentence construction, she sells her used lingerie online. A timely new play about colliding worlds and what happens when one's virtual life meets reality. The Tutor premiered in the 2011 New York International Fringe Festival and has subsequently been translated into Mandarin and performed in China.

Kate Mulley’s plays have been produced throughout the US and internationally. She is a founding member of Vox Theater and a graduate of Dartmouth College and Columbia University. She lives in New York. The Tutor was a finalist for the Juilliard Playwriting Fellowship and has been translated into Mandarin and performed in China.
