This is the story about a friendly pig named Lisa Marie that lived happily amongst her farm animal friends. Lisa Marie unexpectedly encounters a change at the farm and struggles to understand what happened.

Miss Prideaux was born in Omaha, Nebraska. When she was seven days old, she was presented to the adoptive family the Prideauxs. You would never have wanted a better friend than Miss Prideaux. If you told her a secret, she did not repeat it to any other person. If you needed help, she was right there by your side. She loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved her students at Capitol View Elementary school and her dog Rynlyn. She wrote a book about a friendly pig and had a dream of getting her book published. In 2005 Miss Prideaux was killed in a car/semi truck accident on a snowy, icy highway. After a lot of hard work on the part of many people, her book was finally published. Now, we can read her story about what she believed in... being a good friend. Miss Prideaux was a special education teacher at Capital View Elementary School in Des Moines, Iowa. A portion of the funds coming from the sale of this book will be used to invite the authors of childrens books to Capitol View Elementary to present their books and make their characters come to life.
