Reseña del editor:
It has often been said that Gnosticism is a philosophy rather than a religion. Yet the oral and written world histories testify that the Gnostic philosophies predate all of the world’s religions. The Immortal Within seeks to unite the various Gnostic philosophical systems with recent scientific and technological discoveries to synthesize a Modern Gnostic Philosophy for the ages to come. The book is divided into five basic sections: an over-view of Old World Gnosticism, an over-view of New World Gnosticism, an over-view of recent scientific discoveries, a unification of these three systems that form the foundation of Modern Gnostic philosophy, and finally, the means to achieve enlightenment and self-fulfillment. The ideas of Modern Gnosticism are all around us. Yet even though they are often quietly embedded in art, films, the broadcast media, and literature, their message is ever present, "Our spirits are energy that will one day reintegrate into the great cosmos. Thus, it is on Earth that we reap our fortunes or suffer our consequences, and nowhere else."
