He is a United Methodist Elder and District Superintendent in the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church. He and his wife, Jennie Elizabeth, live in Alabama. Their son is Waddy and daughter is Finda. He is author of the book Forged from Chaos: Stories and Reflections from Liberia at War. He is a lifelong learner with Bache-lor of Theology, Master of Arts in Religion, Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees.
