Daniel C. Taylor has traveled the 2,500 mile breadth of the Himalaya for 60 years -- by Volkwagon, Land Cruiser, Truck, Yak, Donkey, Helicopter, and thousands of miles by foot. Some of the time he was looking (successfully) for the scientific explanation for the Yeti. Other times he was leading teams establishing seven national parks. Other times, he was exploring valleys.
