The perfect and pluperfect passive may have the dative of the agent. 2. The personal verbal in-tc'os takes the dative (1596), the impersonal in-rlov the dative or accusative, of the agent (1597). 1239. When the active is followed by two accusatives, or hy an accusative of a thing and a dative of a person, the case denoting a person is generally made the subject of the passive, and the other (an accusative) remains unchanged. The first two examples are cases of the cognate accusative (1051) of the thing retained with the passive, while the accusative or dative of the person is made the subject. 1240. 1.
