With a career as a communications professional for the past 17 years, Joanne Leila Smith is currently the Managing Editor of INDVSTRVS, an international business publication based in Sydney, Australia. This book is Joanne’s first foray into historical fiction, and is her fourth book published. Joanne is a professional member with the Australian Institute of Professional Editors (iPed), The Australian Society of Authors (ASA) and NSW Institute of Teachers (BOSTES). Her qualifications include: Master of Arts (English), Bachelor of Arts (Media & Communications), Diploma of Journalism, and Graduate Diploma of Education (Double-method English). Joanne lives on the Central Coast NSW with her best friend and husband, Joseph, and their two sweet daughters.
