Our World
Our world is a ball of rock nearly 8,000 miles in diameter. Only about one quarter of its surface is dry land, the rest is covered by saltwater.
The land is divided into large masses known as continents. Each continent is divided into many countries with many cities.
The oceans cover 71% of planet Earth.
There are 5 oceans in the world.
There are 7 continents in the world and 203 countries.
Each continent has different features and landmarks.
