Henry Sloan grew up on a farm on the water near the southern Delaware beaches. With the farm environment fostering his fondness for animals, he enjoyed many experiences with a great variety of farm pets. Writing his first book in 1989, Henry has alternated between writing whimsical books on animals to more serious books of an environmental and spiritual nature. He is a graduate of Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is a classically trained teacher of Transcendental Meditation and has led groups in various types of meditation for over twenty years. Inspired by the Angels from an early age, Henry has written four Angel books. These include Angel Dustings in 1994, followed by Angel Ringings in 1996. Written as a meditation source book for groups, Love Is the Greatest Healing Form was published in 2001. In 2007 he appeared on two national radio shows: NPR and Sirius Radio. In 2010 A Spiritual Journey: Whisperings from Angels was published. He currently writes an angel newsletter from www.whisperingsfromangels.com and leads Whisperings from Angels workshops. Dividing his time between writing and the healing arts, he lives near Annapolis, Maryland.
