And, first, I will lay briefly before you the out line of such acts as are especially connected with my own Office. Since I last addressed you, I have been able, through God's mercy in preserving my health, to carry on to a considerable extent that plan which you, my Reverend Brethren, so cordially welcomed, of my ministering with you in your several parishes, and so making the episcopal Office really known in its true pastoral character amongst our scattered flocks.
