He had already been interviewed by PUBLISHING NEWS for their Debut section, (which ran on 8th November). We had a successful launch at Waterstones, Bradford on 13th February (and they've sold 47 copies of COVER TO COVER to date) and Robert also did a Vox'n' Roll reading at the Mini Bar, Highbury Corner on Wednesday 19th February. Robert will also be talking about 'Getting Into Print' as part of the Bradford Book Festival on Thursday 15 May. Some great reviews have been coming in... 'Craig's debut novel is an intriguing read...There is something engaging about Tanya's realness. She is the antithesis of Bridget Jones - irrational, moody and happy to be alone. Craig's prose is as direct as Tanya's attitude and makes COVER TO COVER a well structured exploration of emotional relationships.'Francesca Gavin, TIMES '...an entertaining first novel.'John Oates, INDEPENDENT ON SUNDAY 'A smart, funny novel...With its twisting plot and sharp observations, this is a wonderful debut from a talented new writer.'SAINSBURY'S MAGAZINE '...gripping.'Alex Heminsley, TIME OUT 'COVER TO COVER has a lot to say about boredom, depression and the failure to communicate that is symptomatic of Tanya's thoroughly modern relationships.'Katy Guest, THE INDEPENDENT 'This is brilliant..The story and the character make engrossing reading and keep you waiting to turn the page to discover more about the complex personality of Tanya...It is both deep but humorous, I can see this book being made into a film to rival 'Bridget Jones' and look forward to Craig's second book.'New Books.mag ***** 'This is a funny book, with moments of real intelligence and insight that sets it apart from the rest.'BRISTOL EVENING POST 'He has an easy style of writing, a sharp eye for the absurd and a nice line in humour.'YORKSHIRE EVENING POST 'Strong comic characters, sparse but sharp dialogue andmore twists than are surely healthy are factors that are all likely to make Craig the biggest postman since Pat.'CHESTER CHRONICLE 'A dazzling first novel which is intelligent, witty and different - and written by a man who seems to have a great insight into women.'Julie Chamberlain, RUGBY EVENING TELEGRAPH
Reseña del editor:

Tanya Stephens is a 29-year-old graphic designer who works for Ill Will, a greeting card company founded on the principle that British people can be atrociously rude to their friends with impunity. Tanya herself is beginning not to see the point of having friends or even lovers. She has had one true love, and a series of boyfriends who have variously become too keen, too needy or just mind-numbingly boring. She keeps Richard, her current boyfriend ¿ a carpet-fitter ¿ for sex, but has encounters with Carl ¿ a road-sweeper ¿ when he pops round to borrow books. Tanya is happy with her books, the occasional episode of Frasier and her own dark imagination.

When Tanya finds a book ostensibly about her own life in a second-hand bookshop, the line between truth and reality begins to blur. Is her true love now happily married and working for the DVLA in Swansea? Did her mum sleep with her dad¿s best friend? On her quest to separate fact from fiction, Tanya upsets a few people and coolly pleases herself.
