What I find most refreshing about this handbook is the logical progression through the management plan with the clear identification of the point that the senior on call should be contacted. there is also a nice symbol scheme to help the flustered foundation doctor triage the priority of the many calls they receive during their shift...It focuses on the common problems and will provide a valuable tool to any cross-covering doctor...The authors should be congratulated on yet another triumph in this excellent series.
